Passion isn't necessarily about sex. Shocking, I know.

I know...I don't have passion for anything. I don't think I ever have. Wait...I have a passion for science and nature. I always will.

Yea! That's a whole lot of things to be passionate about!
    Frogs, especially. :)

They are disappearing. Sad. I have been watching trend in wildlife behaviour for years. Bleak.

But your passion can make a difference and I'm sure it has to many of your students!

I know there are big problems, but I have to stay positive. That's just who I was meant to be!

I'm very familiar with it and think it's HILARIOUS and silly. More than half the species shown in the film aren't found in Florida or the US.

On second thought, many of them might be thanks to the *&%$ humans who release animals purchased as pets. Wreaking havoc on the ecosystem. Humans screwing things up, per usual!

I guess that movie would freak out people with herpetophobia (fear of reptiles/amphibians), but not sure why they'd watch it!

    :)

Yeah, it is on the silly side. But I remember I was just instantly "into it" - - I enjoyed it all in a freaky fun way. And I let it freak me out in a fun way.

I think I've heard other people say about the kind of animals in the movie.  :)

I definitely found it entertaining! I only came upon it fairly recently on YouTube or something like that. I like the animals in it! :)

Compassion. Sometimes I think I have to much of it.

I hear you, Jane. I don't think there can be too much genuine compassion, but it can lead to enabling and excusing things that shouldn't be. Not to mention overextending oneself in various ways.

Yeah, I hear you, for sure. Still, I'd rather be overly compassionate than not compassionate enough any day.

    :)

I'm compassionate. It's not as if you're not open about it!
